Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for over ten seasons. She was part and was captain of the US Olympic women's gymnastics team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals in floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. This made her one of the very first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. In 2016, she along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans who won back-toback golds in team events. In addition, she was awarded silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. Three years have passed between her last appearance in competition gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of gold-winning American squads at the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden the line of leotards and socks in the coming years. She is writing a book called Fierce to be published in the coming months.
